You got questions? We got answers.
-
Round-trip transportation, private guide, water and trail snacks, and all taxes and park fees are included in your one price.
Additional add-ons to make your day extra special are available in the checkout menu.
-
Nope. We wouldn’t even dream of it. Every single one of our tours is just with just you, your peeps, and an expert, professional guide.
We may come across other people during the tour, but rest assured, they are not having as much fun as we are.
-
Yes! Kids aged 6 and up, who do not require the use of a booster/car seat, are good to go! Unfortunately, for those who are smaller, we do not have the required equipment to make it happen. If you have your own equipment that you want to bring or rent, please let us know in advance.
Additionally, some of our tours stop at breweries/wineries and some of those establishments do not allow children or those under 21 inside. If you have a concern, please email us and we will get you the answers you need - or make appropriate changes to the itinerary!

We recommend dressing for comfort and the outdoors. Here’s what to bring:
Comfortable outdoor clothing — lightweight, breathable layers work best.
Hiking pants or athletic wear — avoid jeans or heavy materials that can get uncomfortable.
Closed-toe shoes with good traction — hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers are ideal.
Hat and sunglasses — to protect from the sun.
Light jacket or rain shell — Colorado weather can change quickly, even on short hikes.
Sunscreen and bug spray — apply before we start; we’ll have extras available if needed.
-
We keep it all easy to moderate — more "enjoy the view" than "earn a merit badge." If you can handle a few gentle hills and want to stop for a photo or snack, you’ll be right at home.
-
As much as we love furry friends, we don’t allow pets on tours — except official service animals.
-
Colorado weather can be a little... moody.
We hike in light rain (it builds character), but if it’s dangerous — lightning, snowstorms, flying cows — we’ll reschedule or offer a cozy alternative. We rarely cancel, but if we do, you’ll get 100% of your money back. -
Our tours stay between 5,000 and 8,000 feet, where most guests feel little to no effects. While some visitors might notice mild shortness of breath or fatigue, serious altitude sickness is rare at these elevations.
We recommend:
Staying well-hydrated (we provide water!)
Pacing yourself and resting as needed.
You could consider waiting to do your adventure on the 2nd or 3rd day of your trip. This is a precaution just to make sure you are 100% adjusted and comfortable on the tour.
Be sure you tell your guide if you start to feel any symptoms.
Our guides are trained to adjust the tour to keep everyone comfortable. If you have concerns, let us know — we’re happy to recommend the best tour for you.
-
The more, the merrier!
We can accommodate parties of up to 8 people - you can select to add on a bigger vehicle at checkout to accommodate your group.
Any questions or special requests? Just shoot us an email - we’re happy to make accommodations to make your trip happen.
-
Plans change — we get it.
For our pre-planned tours, if you cancel 48 hours or more before your tour, you are good for a full refund. No questions asked.
For our custom tours - these are only 80% refundable after booking due to the time and effort put into building your custom itineraries.
For all tours, if you cancel less than 48 hours before our start time, we’ll be crying softly into our trail maps, and we won’t be able to refund you. -
We use clean, comfortable SUVs — not a bus with 20 strangers. Enough room to relax, take in the views, and maybe even nap on the way back (no judgment).
For bigger groups, you can upgrade to premium-size SUVs — because comfort isn’t optional around here. We roll in style. The kind of elevated journey you deserve!
Historically, we have been seen rolling around the foothills in BMW X1s, Chevy Tahoes, and Ford Expeditions. Unfortunately, no, we do not take vehicle requests at this time.
-
They are not included, they are also not expected, but if your guide makes you feel like a wilderness rock star, tips are always appreciated.
(Think of it like a high-five... but in paper form.) -
Many trailheads have facilities (no promises on marble countertops). If nature calls mid-hike, we’ll find the best five-star trees available.
We recommend you take care of those needs before the adventure begins, but we can always make a stop if we have to.
-
We’ll do our absolute best — just let us know when you book!
(Note: We haven’t perfected gluten-free trail mix yet, but we’re working on it.)
